Doodhpathri, meaning the Valley of Milk, is a serene meadow located in Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir. Legend has it that the saint Sheikh ul Alam once prayed here, and when he struck the ground with his staff, milk is said to have gushed out instead of water, giving the valley its name.
