Doodhpathri, meaning the Valley of Milk, is a serene meadow located in Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir. Known for its lush green pastures, gushing streams, and snow-capped mountains, Doodhpathri is an untouched natural wonder situated about 42 km from Srinagar. Legend has it that the saint Sheikh ul Alam once prayed here, and when he struck the ground with his staff, milk is said to have gushed out instead of water, giving the valley its name.
